The Working Paper is the forty-third in the Nigeria Strategy Support Program (NSSP) working paper series (c) 2017

We are pleased to announce the publication of a new Working Paper from the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) entitled, “Scrutinizing the status quo: Rural transformation and land tenure security in Nigeria.” The paper was co-authored by Hosaena Ghebru, Research Fellow at IFPRI and Fikirte Girmachew, Research Officer at the Ethiopian Development Research Institute.

The paper, which is Number 43 in the Nigeria Strategy Support Program (NSSP) working paper series, explores the drivers of perceived land tenure insecurity using Nigeria’s Living Standards Measurement Study-Panel General Household Survey of 2012/13.

This publication is part of the research output from the Feed the Future Nigeria Agricultural Policy Project, a joint effort between the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI)’s Nigeria Strategy Support Program (NSSP) and Michigan State University funded by USAID-Nigeria.
